Assessor Comments
A good quality sizable line of angus weaner and yearling steers that offer great compensatory weight gains. This line of steers comprise of a small portion being vendor bred and the balance being bought in out the Tamworth region and Wodonga weaner sales back in December and early January. A great opportunity to buy a line of steers that are all frame, steers endured a tough enough winter coming off fairly lite granite country but with the arrival of spring and the warmer months ahead these steers will bounce away given the right opportunity. Steers are Perfect backgrounding articles that offer a quick turn around to sell in February and March as angus feeders as they can only go forward from now with age, frame and now the season all being on their side. Steers got a comprehensive animal health program back in early April. Steers weighed an average of 300.1kgs at assessment and had a lighter tail removed when assessed. Don't miss this line of good quality angus steers ideal to continue on an oat crop that can only go one way.
