Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The steers walked 6km the day before, were drafted from a large number, in the yards overnight, briefly tailed out early for a drink and handled at assessment - both days very hot with no signs of the cattle being sour, agitated or anything but content. They were very quiet when in the race and crush & settled to walk through whilst taking photos & videos.

Assessor Comments
Good quality crossbred steers with good frame , great temperament and style suited to carry on to grass-fed heavy weights or feeder weights. HGP free. Tidy heads & clean coated steers. Significant yard time the day before assessment with hot days - the cattle show no signs of ill effect - I would expect to convert on good quality feed - ready to bounce ahead. A small number of the steers mouthed all milk tooth.
