Generally all easy to handle in the yard at assessment - 2 steers did become slightly stirry/nervous/agitated while isolated during weighing & when mouthing in the crush, not considered detrimental as they settled down when let back together in the yard with the other steers - Temperament considered to be reasonably quiet as a mob overall

A well grown pen of 7 Black (Angus X Friesian) XB Steers - Vendor bred, rising 20-22 months - All mouthed in this lot at assessment showing milk teeth - Presenting in sound store to forward store condition with large frame with majority showing good shape - All bucket reared & displaying a reasonable quiet temperament in the yard at assessment - Young bullocks ideal to take on & ‘Top Off’ coming out of the Winter into the Spring - Suitable to finish off for a heavy grass or grain fed export steer/bullock market - Alternatively suitable to put on grain immediately for select heavy feeder market subject to required specs - These steers will make excellent heavy export bullocks with the right dentition given good feed moving forward with a short term turn around - Purchase with confidence, noted doing black XB steers with the majority of the hard work having already been done
