Steers were mostly good to handle in the yards & crush, two steers would not settle in the crush. When back together in a pen most settled, two steers were pacing around the pen and were agitated. No steers were aggressive. The winds at assessment may have contributed to their temperament. Steers will be kept in a holding yard and worked through the yards up until delivery.

A small line of backgrounder steers, mostly medium to large framed with one steer small framed. They are out of Hereford & Hereford cross cows over a Brangus paddock bull. Yard weaned in February, steers will be kept in a holding yard on Lucerne hay up until delivery and worked through the yards. Steers would suit to take to export feeder weights and finish for a range of markets. Please note Buffalo fly were present on the cattle at assessment. Located just 2km off the Cunningham Highway, 5km East of Yelarbon. Note same vendor also has the sisters of these steers in same sale.
