Assessor Comments
Good line of Upper Murray bred Angus Heifers from a high performing, moderate to large framed cow herd. Females that carry a rich genetic history with the original cow herd being based on Hazeldean Angus genetics, then exclusively using the Dunoon Angus genetics for over 15 years, with the recent introduction of Table Top Angus to focus on feet, temperament & IMF. These young heifers present in store condition having come off very basic pastures and a tough Autumn/Winter in the hills. Regularly purchased by repeat & in-house clients for their reputation to perform. These are heifers that are all frame, with plenty of compensatory weight gaining to do, that would be ideal to background, give them the Spring, then start on a feed ration.
