Generally, steers moved well through the yards during the assessment process. 7 steers became agitated in the crush but calmed once through the draft. It's worth noting that this was their second time through the yards in as many days. Some steers were flighty when applying force to move them around the yards but then walked calmly between pens for the video and back out in the paddock after the assessment.

An outstanding line of vendor bred Angus Steers. Offered is a very even lot of steers weighing from 302 -382kg full at assessment. The 'Weowna' herd is KO and Aristocrat Blood with a focus on high IMF in bull selection. These steers are up to date with all their animal health treatments and have been powering ahead since being weaned 8 weeks ago. The 'Weowna' cattle are renowned performers, and these steers are true to form presenting in ideal, type frame, and condition. Steers would suit backgrounding for the feedlot or could be grown out on grass to kill weights.
