Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of 70 quiet, Angus steers that have great weight for their age. These steers present in forward store condition and have not missed a beat. They were yard weaned in late October on hay, water and Transforce. They maintained a rising plane of nutrition during the whole weaning process. As a result, they have presented as fresh and sappy. They are a very even line that average just under 300kg and their temperament is superb, a treat to assess and handle these cattle. The vendor uses top quality Mandayen and Allendale AA Bulls over large framed, AA Cows to get the absolute best breeding quality for their calves. Please note a small number of these steers are still showing signs of their winter coats. There is also one steer that had a ring put on it one month ago and the testi’s are still visible. These steers are more than capable of suiting any operation and have all the potential to reach any set weight.
The vendor also has a line of 75 weaned heifers on offer.
