14 steers were impatient in the crush and exited quickly but calmed once back with the mob. Handled well in drafting pens and flowed easily through race. Handled in holding paddock adjacent to yards and blocked easily on foot with the use of dogs.

A line of soft, easy doing, well-mannered steers that will perform. Out of a quality herd of good to large framed Santa cows of mainly Rosevale breeding and by Dunlop Santa bulls and Rosevale Santa and Composite Bulls. The younger steers in the mob were weaned early and they have all had access to pasture hay and pellets since 20th March. Steers present in strong store condition and are moving forward. The vendors would normally grow these out to heavy feeders but due to a dry summer are being offloaded now. Vendor also has another lot of 12 steers in this sale.
