A good quality line of Mix sex steers heifers that are all frame making excellent backgrounders. Purchased as weaners from the well renown herd of the Marwood families from Kingston in South Australia, steers are from a majortley big framed Simmental / Hereford cross herd that are a base of Quality Woonalee Simmental Genetics, the different family run farms have started to use Pathfinder Angus Genetics through the herd over the past 6 years resulting in a black to Black baldie infused steer in the offspring. Cattle Originally went too a lease farm at Booligal in south western NSW where it became hot quickly & water issues forced a move up to western NSW recently. Given a stable & constant good body of feed these cattle should bounce a way and get to feeder weights quickly. Bred from quality Genetics these steers are ideal backgrounding cattle that can only one way !!! Great Put away cattle for the oat crop.
