Buyers, good quality Angus heifers bred from females purchased out of the New England area. They present in mainly store to forward store condition and look to be gaining weight on the good quantity/quality feed at their disposal. The heifers are very quiet; the vendor’s always do an excellent job throughout the weaning process and is reflected in these. They possess plenty of length and depth of barrel and don’t look to have had any health setbacks at any stage of their life. The heifers are just starting to clean up in the coat, they are healthy, and I would suggest these will fly ahead if they get access to improved pastures or crop especially on heavier country. All the hard work is done; they are well and truly over the weaning process. Ideal to put away and background to domestic feedlot entry weights or retain for future breeding. Cattle from Wongavale are continually attracting repeat buyers, evidence they must perform.

Bred from very good quality Angus cows purchased as heifers and cows from the New England area of NSW a few years ago. At the time they were assessed as 100% Angus X Angus.

By an AI son of a Texas Angus bull, Glenisa Angus, a son of an Alumy Creek Angus bull. Also AI sons of US bulls Musgrave Exclusive & Sydgen Enhance.

Running on an excellent coverage of native summer grasses with winter herbages underneath that is still green underneath.

These are part of an annual turnoff of weaner heifers surplus to further breeding purposes. These cattle have had no grain or antibiotic at any stage of their life. They have had access to cotton seed though.
