They are very good to handle through the yards. There were a couple that were agitated in the crush but settled down once let out. They are fresh Weaners so should settle down further by delivery. They will require education outside of the yards as vendors won’t have a chance to tail them prior to delivery.

71 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Crossbred Weaner Steers. Majority Exhibit Very Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their breed and age. Ideal Steers to grow out to Feeder or Slaughter Weights suitable for Domestic & Heavy Export Markets. They have good feet, are quiet & are tidy around the head. There are 4 Steers that were late cut as big calves a couple of months ago that are still softening up but still showing some masculinity. Steers won’t receive any tailing outside the yards prior to delivery. They will be fed in the yards until delivery so a prompt pickup is appreciated. Vendor has 2 decks of Heifers in the same sale. The Grove has Prickly Acacia however it is not in seed. PCAS Eligible
