Quiet line of young steers to handle. A few steers were a bit nervous about walking in to the race, at which point the prodder was brought out, despite getting a ‘few volts of encouragement’ they never stirred up, just jumped forward then walked in to the crush, stood, then walked out, all very sensibly. Easy to draft and move between pens, all walked out quietly and stood in a small holding yard for photos.

Steers with an easy muscling, soft style about them that present in fresh 2 score condition will be early finishing bodies.
