They are very good to handle through the yards. There were a couple that were agitated in the crush but settled down once let out. They are fresh Weaners so should settle down further by delivery. They will require education outside of the yards as vendors won’t have a chance to tail them prior to delivery.

72 VGQ Vendor Bred Crossbred Weaner Heifers. They Exhibit Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their breed and age. Ideal Heifers to retain for Future Breeders or grow out to Feeder or Slaughter Weights suitable for Domestic & Heavy Export Markets. They have good feet, are quiet & are tidy around the head. There are 68 Branded Heifers as well as 4 Cleanskin Heifers that received a hair brand & NLIS tag at assessment. There is 1 Heifer with a pea sized wart on her offside eyelid that is causing no issue. Heifers won’t receive any tailing outside the yards prior to delivery. They will be fed in the yards until delivery so a prompt pickup is appreciated. Vendor has 2 decks of Steers in the same sale. The Grove has Prickly Acacia however it is not in seed. PCAS Eligible
