Exceptional cattle to handle throughout the yards and crush with 93% walking on and off without any fuss or urgency at all. Hard to fathom weaners straight off cows could be so calm and easy to manage. The cattle will be handled through the yards and itnroduced to working dogs and yard education during their yard time until delivery. Some of the most recently weaned were a little eager off the scales yet not aggressive.

The "Loongana" cattle are very well respected and known for quality, performance and temperament. Sires purchased in recent years are generally in the lead of any sale catalogue with purchases in the $7,000 - $16,000 range. All #1 branded. 27 Steers 131-343kg av: 243kg & 45 Heifers 129-270kg av:214 kg Very clean and tidy around the head, fresh and showing great bone, length & depth. 2 heifers with a white underline, 1 heifer with a small tennis ball size navel, 2 Brindles and 3 creamy Charbray colour. Buyers are expected to take into consideration the yard weaning and fresh body condition at assessment by making any additional adjustments or allowances for perceived shrinkage due to yard weaning and transport over and above the 5% as assessed in the price they are prepared to bid. The majority of heifers have recently returned from agistment with 3 rainy days and a 700km truck trip they may be expected to improve whilst yard confined.
