Steers are in strong condition & should travel with no issues, would suggest spelling for any trips over 8 hours. Vendor is feeding good quality oaten hay & has Beachport Green cap in water supply until delivery.

Of the slightly stirry steers in the crush & race most did walk away from the crush when released the others settled once in the mob. The aggressive steer was in the pound & did attack. Good stock handling practices are required to handle these steers.

These steers are ideal for a backgrounder to either take on to heavy feeders or grow out to yearling bullocks. The steers are all frame & will go ahead on good feed, with plenty of weight gain to be had. Lyndley cattle have a good reputation for performing on feed & are regular winners at the Elders Feeder & Store sale. PCAS eligible, vendor will supply a PCAS Non-Certified supplier declaration. Steers are showing signs of lice & would recommended a treatment, still losing their winter coat. 2 steers have been marked late & still show some male characteristics.
Vendor has another 36 steers & 111 heifers same sale.
