Generally, steers moved well through the yards during the assessment process. 9 steers became agitated in the crush but calmed once through the draft. Some steers were flighty when applying force to move them around the yards but then walked calmly between pens for the video and were happy in the paddock when taking photos.

An outstanding line of vendor bred Angus Steers. Steers are 11-12 months old and in a tight bracket weighing from 313 -391kg full at assessment. The 'Weowna' herd is KO and Aristocrat Blood with a focus on high IMF in bull selection. These steers are up to date with all their animal health treatments and have been powering ahead with daily weight gains of 1kg+ all winter. The 'Weowna' cattle are renowned performers, and these steers are true to form presenting in ideal type, frame, and condition. Steers would suit backgrounding for the feedlot or could be grown out on grass to kill weights.
