Buyers these steers were a pleasure to draft, handle and assess. They have had extensive education and handling at weaning by the vendors and their children. The odd steer slightly unsettled in the crush whilst being assessed which is understandable for a weaner. Please refer to my videos for how quiet they handled in the yards and also letting out of the yards. All the hard work has been done, ready to power ahead!

Buyers please consider this soft line of 72 EU & Teys Grasslands accredited weaned steers (2 decks). Weighing from 220 to 380 kgs to avg 294 kgs at assessment or approx 283 kgs at delivery. A quiet line of soft crossbred steers that have all the hard work done with an extensive weaning 6 weeks ago. The vendors keep their property clean of tick so will offer these steers guaranteed clean of tick at delivery and have also pre treated with Moxxi pour on to suit tick clearing guidelines. An attractive line of EU steers that will suit the feeder market or carry on and finish to Grasslands bullocks. A soft line of vendor bred steers that have had all the work done to them. Part of the usual turnoff of weaners for the vendor with some years they take them out to heavy feeder weights if the season allows. Genuine offering of soft well bred steers!

Out of a large framed cow herd consisting of Charbray, Brangus, Angus & Brahman x cows. Sired by RAFF Angus bulls and Bauhinia Park Charolais bulls.
Grazing Conditions
These steers were weaned late June and have been grazing in a paddock of hayed off Buffel with some legumes and native grasses. Grass has not been frosted yet so steers have had a slight weight gain of .3/kg/day since weaning.
