Assessor Comments
A NICE EVEN RUN OF VENDOR BRED HEIFERS THAT ARE '' EU '' ACCREDITED. THE CAMPBELL FAMILY OF ROCKGEDGIEL HAVE BEEN BREEDING SHORTHORN CATTLE IN THE BUNDELLA DISTRICT FOR MANY GENERATIONS.GIVEN TIME AND GOOD NUTRITION THEY SHOULD CONTINUE TO GROW ON.THE STEER PORTION OF THE HERD IS TARGETED FOR THE JBS 1000 GUINEAS PROGRAM. HEIFERS HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN SUPPLIED TO THAT MARKET AS WELL. THE EYES ON THESE HEIFERS ARE VERY GOOD WITH MINIMAL PINKEYE SCARRING.A VERY ODD HEIFER HAS A SMALL RINGWORM. COLOR BREAKUP = 67 REDS AND ROANS , 6 WHITES. SAME VENDOR HAS 36 OLDER HEIFERS IN THIS SALE.
