A very neat run of ‘Ellingerrin’ EU Accredited Angus weaner heifers sired by Leading AI Sires in Texas Powerplay, Texas Reality and Lawsons Rocky as well as bulls from Dunoon Angus, most of which were sons of renowned marbling sire Rennylea L519. The heifers are out of large framed primarily Dunoon Angus Blood females. Heifers are June/July 2023 drop and are showing impressive weight for age, having been weaned for approximately 4 months. Heifers display lots of fleshing ability and do ability. The Ellingerrin herd is noted for their ability to perform on both grass (JBS Farm Assurance) and grain programs commonly reaching export slaughter weights at early ages. Heifers present in ideal condition to add to a breeding operation, background to feeder weights or to carry onto slaughter weights. The Ellingerrin cattle come with highest of recommendation for any beef production system.
