Very good to handle through the race and crush. The two steers noted as slightly stirry just would not settle fully while in the crush. Very quiet and calm while photos and videos were being taken in the yards.

A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus steers. These are the tops of this years "Rodberry" weaner steers. They are normally retained and taken through to feedlot entry but are being sold due to family succession planning. They are medium to large frame steers which are sired by bulls from Texas, Eastern Plains and Bald Balir selected on structural soundness, growth and carcase traits. They had been yard weaned for 11 days on Lucerne hay at assessment and have been educated to hay racks and feedlot troughs. Eventhough they are fully weaned, they will remain in the yards until to loading on lucerne hay. Four steers had small blue eye spots in one eye and one steer had a moderate blue eye spot in one eye - not considered detrimental. Steers have had their first shot of Bovilis MH + IBR & vaccinated with 8 in 1 at weaning. These are quality backgrounder steers that can be taken to heavy export feeder weights and will suit a range of high quality feeder markets.
