The Askew cattle are generally very good to handle. Weighing and assessing was no issue with only about 10 head really showing any sign of wanting to move off scales quickly. Heifers mainly moved about quietly during photographing and videoing.

Assessor Comments
Offering a well bred draft of depastured Angus heifers originally selected by vendor to retain as breeders. The continuing tight season in the Western District means they are offered for sale. They have had the opportunity to quality LKK Angus bulls for a February 2025 calving for 10 weeks. These heifers are LKK & Rossander blood and present in healthy store to forward store condition with plenty of frame. Approx 10% did display some rubbing around neck (refer photo). They are out of a quality cow herd offering the purchaser the chance to take on and calve as quality breeders or potentially finish into trade or export markets in the shorter term. Vendor is prepared to PG heifers at delivery at buyers request. Previous purchaser’s feedback has always been positive in regards to performance. These opportunities don’t present too often, a chance to acquire a very good draft of vendor bred, station mated, Angus heifers with options.
