Cattle generally good to handle throughout yards at assessment. Steers were assessed in a weighbox and a few didn't appreciate the confinement but were quick to settle once released.

Outstanding line of Angus Feeder Steers. Steers are genuine large frame types and ideal to go into a feeder program. Steers exhibit good growth for their age as their weight suggests. They carry a clean bill of health, have received their first bovillus shot and up to date with all vet treatments. They present evenly as a group with any off types removed a month ago. Steers currently have an ADG of 1.3kg/day based 27 days since their last weigh and were 412-520kg at assessment. Of this group 42 are vendor bred(Orange tag) with the balance purchased in May from SELX weaner sale. Steers are also grassfed eligible.
