Steers were well behaved to handle throughout assessment. Given the amount of green feed going through them at the moment, a few needed to have manure balls removed from their tails, this did upset a few steers as they entered the crush. Once settled back in the yard, they were sensible to let out into the laneway and into the holding paddock for photos.

Outstanding draft of baby bullocks. By select high performing A.I sires & Dunoon mop up Bulls, bred in the purple, and never seen a tough day. As good as any feeder steer we’ve seen produced this year. 452kg, and genuinely only 11-13 months of age. Square as bricks from every angle, with exceptional length, depth & width & a real ‘easy doing’ softness about them. By a herd of large framed Ardrossan & Dunoon Angus blood cows that are heavily classed and assessed annually. No expense spared when selecting sires with desired traits. 100% Grass Fed, Antibiotic Free and doing 1.29kg/day on a fresh oat crop. Cattle that tick every box and will just keep going forward. This is a first time opportunity to secure these outstanding cattle, usually sold direct to feedlot. Steers that come with the agents & assessors highest recommendation.
