Generally the cattle were good to handle. Vendor has made concerted effort to manage cattle calmly through weaning and health treatments, including implementation of De-Stress in water. Most steers handled assessment well with approx 6 head showing stirriness in tight confines of weigh cradle. Generally handled well (refer video).

“Tops of the drop” A very well bred draft of weaner Angus steers. The Bellevue herd is 100% Weeran blood with no expense spared on genetics with a focus on above average growth and carcase attributes. Individually weighed to be 387kg+ (full) and presenting in strong store to forward store condition, these cattle have proven record of performance in the feedlot and on grass. Cattle are PCAS eligible & Never Ever Accredited. Note, about 3 head had old pinkeye scarring. Steers have had full animal health treatments during the past two months either side of weaning. An opportunity to acquire impeccably bred, well weighted Angus steers with the breeding and capacity to hit feeder, trade or export markets (grain or grass) (Vendor offers 209 Angus steers this sale over 3 lots).
