The annual draft of Redgum Pastoral Angus and Angus cross weaner Steers. This line of steers carry Ben Nevis and Bald Blair Angus genetics and average 256kg at assessment. This line of steers have a very good reputation for performance and have been sale toppers in APL feature sales. Our vendors take a great deal of pride in their breeding program, and have the cattle well handled. Steers were weaned at assessment into the yards onto lucerne hay. All steers are vendor bred and have never had access to grain. Vendor has a sister line offered in the same sale. Buyers please see videos and photos to satisfy breed judgement as some steers show tropical characteristics. Eg slight pizzle or ear. Steers will be despatched into holding paddocks as soon as possible to do our best to avoid any lameness associated with yard weaning in wet conditions.
Steers have been sprayed with barricade after assessment.
