Steers were quite good to handle odd one push through the race and was unsettled on the scales but settled once back in the group, all in all this lot of steers behaved well during the drafting, assessing and weighing process.

Assessor Comments
Neat run of Angus steers all western districts breed, presenting in excellent fresh forward store condition. These steers were purchased 6-7 months ago ex Western Victorian Livestock Exchange - Mortlake with the purpose of holding them through the spring to grow out to export bullocks, and only offered for sale due to the tight seasonal conditions. These steers will push ahead quickly given the right nutritional conditions, and will be good feeder steers in no time or alternatively will have no problems holding plenty of weight for the export market.
