These steers were good to handle & draft through the yards. Stirry & slightly stirry steers in the yards was from being isolated or left in the pound too long. Steers that were stirry & slightly stirry in the crush were mainly from being isolated or asked to stand on the platform for too long. Once back in the mob they settled quickly. Steers were very easy to move from yard to yard after being drafted & weighed. Steers were good to walk through while taking pictures.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to secure a line of good quality steers that won't disappoint. All the hard work has been done, you just need to add feed. Steers are showing good growth & weight for age, stand on good bone & have a good frame ready to put kilos on. Out of a well recognized and renowned Santa Gertrudis herd in the Blackall/Tambo area. Buyers please note there are 9 steers that were marked back in January with pronounced brands & dehorning scarring still noticeable. They still have some minor pronounced dominant male characteristics but this should dissipate with further maturity. Buyers, please check out the photos and the video, they are very impressive steers.
