CATTLE WERE DEFINITELY ON EDGE AND BECAME QUITE FLARED UP WHILST PUT UNDER PRESSURE IN DRAFTING CIRCUMSTANCES. ONCE IN RACE AND THROUGH WEIGH CRATE MORE SEEMED TO BECOME SETTLED QUITE QUICKLY. I WOULD STATE AS THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS WENT THROUGH THE MOTIONS THE CATTLE DEFINITELY BECAME MORE SETTLED AND RELAXED WITHE THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW. AT NO STAGE WERE THE CATTLE AGGRESSIVE THOUGH WOULD STATE - HEIFERS ARE MOST SUITABLE TO THE MORE EXPERIENCED STOCK HANDLERS.

A SMALL DRAFT OF PREDOMINATELY SANTA INFUSED WEANER STEERS. CATTLE PRESENT IN IDEAL FETTLE AND WOULD SUIT MOST IF NOT ALL MARKET SPECS - EITHER IT BE TRADE / EXPORT ( GRASS OR GRAIN ). YOU CAN SEE POTENTIAL, THEY PROVIDE SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES AND NO DOUBT PRICE GAINS TO BE HAD. STEERS STAND ON GOOD BONE, ARE TRUE TO TYPE AND DISPLAY ALL THE TRUE BREED CHARACTERISTICS ( SLICK COATED, TOUCH OF EAR/NAVEL & ARE QUITE ATTRACTIVE ). STEERS ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING ON A FAILED OAT CROP AND NEED TO BE SHIFTED SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. 75% OF STEERS WEIGH BETWEEN 350-420KG AFTER A 7 HOUR CURFEW, ONLY 2 LIGHTER STEER. PLEASE SEE HEIFER PORTION IN SAME SALE - THAT WOULD CREATE A COMFORTABLE 2 DECKS.
