Assessor Comments
Tops of the drop. A very good quality offering of 160 vendor bred Angus steers offered as a run out the gate as two lots of 80 head. Steers present in principally forward store condition, have received their 5-in-1 booster vaccination and are sired by Chiltern Park & Weeran Angus bulls, bred from a herd of Banquet, Barwidgee & Weeran blood cows. They were very good to handle. The Winnidad operation selects genetics on structure, above average growth, above 2.0 for IMF and positive fat. The Winnidad herd are noted performance cattle that have performed well for previous purchasers. NEE eligible, steers have the breeding & capacity to finish on grass or grain to trade or export weights (NOTE: vendor offers a total of 160 steers this sale over 2 lots).
