these heifers are naturally a very good natured mob of weaners given the fact they were still on their mothers. They worked through the yards quite well and were put through the pound and race draft several times - despite this they were good to handle and responded well to handling.

A 2 deck line of good Calendar year branded beef master heifers and their crosses; these cattle have been bred with a focus on Disposition, Fertility, Weight, Conformation, Hardiness, and Milk Production. These heifers have had a good season and will have good weight for age - they'll make good backgrounder heifers to grow into feeder or slaughter weights & with a light draft would make good future breeders if so desired. The heifers have been identified with a yellow button and put back in a fresh paddock with their mothers until delivery.
It was also noted that some of the #4 heifers may have been self weaned evident in the fat coverage
The 26 #4 heifers range from 227 - 350kg @ assessment to average 292.2kg
The 54 #5 heifers range from 206 - 334kg @ assessment to average 247.5kg
All cattle were DRY curfewed at assessment
