Heifers are well educated through yards at weaning with a big emphasis on quiet stock handling. Odd heifer stirred in crush but settled straight away once back in the mob.

Buyers 2 decks of PCAS eligible Angus & Belmont Red X light weight weaned heifers. Heifers present in strong store to forward store condition with a moderate frame with good bone, Heifers were weaned in July with a full weaning process done on them being good to handle in and outside the yards. The 'Picarilli' herd is built around fertility and performance which would make these very suitable to be kept on as replacment breeders or grow out to heavier weights for the domestic feeder market. At assessment 1 x heifer was seen with a wart on eye lid & 1 x heifer noticed with a old bit of blue eye scarring almost healed both being seen as not being detrimental. Opportunity to buy a run a tidy run of lightweight weaned heifers ready to go straight into the paddock.
