Assessor Comments
A very good line of 80 x Aug/ Sep 2025 Drop Bongongo and Hazeldean Blood Angus Steers. This group of steers represent the lead draft of Birroon's 2025 drop steers. The steers present evenly as a group and weighed between 250kg and 345kg at assessment. The steers are in excellent health and have responded well to grazing oats in mild autumn conditions, they will transition well to grazing crops for winter backgrounding. The steers exhibit excellent length of body, are healthy in the coat and are improving in condition since undergoing weaning. Typically taken through to feedlot weights, the Birroon cattle are purchased by repeat feedlot buyers annually. Offered for sale to allow space for the balance of steers on farm. Birroon selects sires for above average growth, carcase ebvs and structural soundness. Well bred steers from a self replacing herd of over 20 years of breeding.
