These are well educated steers that were fine to handle throughout the assessment. These steers have been hand fed for many months & are used to that interaction. Under pressure within the the yards & singled out for weighing a very odd steer became agitated & wanted to get back to the security of the mob. Once back in the mob they were settled.

Tops of the drop, big stretchy steers that are well grown & ready to power on and fill out for their purchaser. The Lieschke's have always selected top end sires from both the Sprys Shorthorn program to continually strive to breed the best commercial cattle they can. Sires are selected for carcass, growth, structural soundness and good temperament. These steers are well educated & were yard weaned in March. These steers are on short improved pasture and have the foundations laid to be ideally suited to continue to perform, growing & gaining weight. 10% tail draft removed at assessment, Highly recommended
