Steers were a pleasure to handle. Very quiet & calm in the yards, force yard & crush, with only 1 steer appearing anxious whilst in the crush. Steers remained very relaxed when let out into a small holding paddock to be photographed. Very well handled & managed cattle, with lovely quiet temperaments.

Assessor Comments
81 very well bred Angus feeder steers, JULY/AUGUST 2024 Drop, sired by MILLAH MURRAH blood Angus bulls. This is a very even line of ideal feeder weight steers, which are just starting to clean up in the coat as the weather warms, & are very forward in condition, with shape & softness in abundance. These steers are very well balanced, exhibiting very good body length & depth, possessing the depth of bone and squareness to develop into very meaty calves at the back end of a finishing program. Steers are very quiet, calm & well handled, & would adapt very quickly to a feedlot induction period, minimising weight loss in the adjustment period & thereby maximising profit through faster weight gains. A great opportunity to secure an outstanding line of well managed, vendor bred calves, with all necessary health treatments up to date & a meticulous record of impressive daily weight gains. Ideal steers suited for a short finishing program, which come highly recommended.
