All stirry heifers were removed at assessment (over 20 head) based on temperament in the crush and individually assessed through the pound. The vendor has placed significant selection pressure on temperament in the last few years. Please refer to video of these heifers as this gives a good representation of temperament.

Very well bred line of EU Accredited, Lawsons Angus blood, NSM heifers from a herd with a proven track record of performance. All heifers weighed 320kg+ to average 345kg full (320-397kg) with a large tail removed. Linton Park have used Lawsons Angus bloodlines for over 20 years with selection on marbling and growth traits. Recent consignments of steers sent to Rangers Valley Feedlot have achieved 95%+ Black Onyx brand requirements (3+ Marble score) and 40%+ acheiving the elusive Black Market brand for a 5+ marble score. Over 10% of the line were removed on temperament, making these a very well handled line of heifers. Ideal to join now to target high end F1 Wagyu or Angus markets or background onto heavier weights feeder/ kill weights. Please note; vendor also has the lighter line of 38 heifers in this sale.
