Heifers move well through the yards and respond to pressure. Some heifers in the group do tend to move away quicker than others in the yards and tend to agitate in the weigh box. The heifers were fine to handle, see media included.

A good line of 81 x Aug/ Sep 2024 Drop NSM Bongongo Blood Angus Heifers. This group of heifers represent the second draft of Birroon's 24 drop heifers; a rare opportunity for buyers to purchase Birroon Station's entire draft as no heifers will be retained. The heifers present evenly as a group, they exhibit sound frame for their weight and will perform well if given the opportunity. Offered in a very tight weight range, typically the majority weigh between 200kg and 235kg full. A tail of 33% has been removed from this group. This group of heifers have experienced a tight autumn and cold winter. The heifers will grow into medium to large frame cows. Birroon selects sires for growth, fertility and structural soundness. This group of heifers responds favourably to calm handling in the yards and presented well for photos and assessment.
Birroon will offer 161 x NSM Heifers.
