Steers are well educated through the yards. They were weighed through a weigh box and some steers showed agitation in the confined space. Once steers left confined space they settle back in the mob nicely. Cattle were great to move throughout yards as a mob. Cattle are handled by experienced stockman and dogs and this showed at assessment. These steers are bred from a large herd and, typical of large mobs of cattle, had some run but easily blocked with dogs.

Assessor Comments
Excellent quality line of Weaned angus steers weighed 262-345kg at assessment. Steers present very evenly as a group and carry a clean bill of health. This represents an annual sale of the middle run of the Bundarbo station calves. Steers have been running on very minimal feed and are all frame. They would highly benefit from a higher plain of nutrition and i believe there is alot of compensatory weight gain to be had. They present in strong fresh healthy store condition. Total of 162 spring drop calves on offer with another 17 slightly older heavier strs on offer as well. Approx 10 calves noted with tiny eye scarring. See photos. Strs to be delivered of even proportion come delivery. For further information please call.
