Very well mannered young steers, still a bit anxious in the yard when pressure is applied, however only weaned a week ago, & not yet tailed & educated with the dogs or horses. Despite this, they were all brought from the backyard by a single, lady handler without any hassles, and easily led their way in to the crush. Just a few getting a bit anxious, the longer they had to stand there.

One of the oldest herds of Angus cattle in Australia, with a genetic makeup boasting over 50 years of using the renowned Lawson Angus genetics, with the more recent introduction of Ardrossan & Table Top Angus to even further push those EBV’s chased by market demand. Towong Hill Station are renowned for producing these sale topping steers weaner’s, that are repeatedly sought after by some of the toughest bullock fattening critics. An ideal line of steers to suit either a feeder or export operation, and the perfect time to buy - before it rains. Buyers please Note. Steers have had a big lock up prior to weighing, and 16 Steers were drafted off into the seconds that were just under the 300kg mark - Giving a total of 97.
