Mahkwallok East Pastoral Company Steers - The Top of the Drop - 81 Head.
An exceptional line of vendor bred EU Accredited Hereford steers that are individually weighed 380kgs + to a top of 505kgs. Calves with exceptional doing ability given they are an April May 25 drop. Easy handling calves - the vendor uses low stress management techniques with the calves, and spares no expense in sourcing top sires from Days and Injemira Hereford Studs, with particular emphasis on 600 day growth. Cattle are EU Accredited and PCAS Eligible, and have received Cydectin injectable, Bovilis MH+ IBR, 7 in 1, Marks Min supplement & Moraxella at weaning.
An ideal run of calves to feed on to trade/export cattle.
Please note: The vendor has 163 EU Accredited Steers in today’s sale.
Please note: 20th Feb the vendor has used Opticlox Eye Ointment on some of the calves in this consignment. There are 14 steer in this lot with residual scarring/recovering from pink eye treatment (see photo examples)

These calves are bred from a renowned herd of Injemira & Days Blood sires - with the vendor purchasing bulls in the top 10% of the breed.
Grazing Conditions
Until the end of Jan, grazing dry standing improved Phalaris, Clover and Rye paddocks. From Feb were moved to short green Phalaris & Rye Paddocks.
Cattle were bunk trained at weaning in December to a chaff mix pellet and adlib vetch hay.
