Stock drafted prior to weighing & work steadily through pound & moved up along crush to scales and head bale showing no temperament issues. About 5 head showed fizzy in crush, moved off swiftly, settled in main mob quickly. Cattle have been worked through yards numerously and showed no bad traits.

82 Vendor bred, composite steers. Average weight of 346kgs full, range of 320-398kgs with a draft taken at 320-400kgs range. A random sample of 8hd of the larger steers were mouthed showing milk teeth. 1hd had blue eye, approx. 5hd show higher bos indicus content and display light hump with majority of steers showing flatback type. All castrated with elastrator bands, no vaccines & no recent internal/external parasite treatments. Vendor has self-replacing herd with homebred bull's main sires used in a herd of bos indicus infused breeder cows with some British bred types. These steers have seen good season past 2yrs and have grown out well and weaned onto tail end oats crop last year. 15hd have not had horns tipped off. At weighing, a few inferior types had been drafted prior to weighing and photographing. No faults observed and the majority of steers show good body type development. Some steers how buffalo fly irritation on neck & around eyes.
