Generally the cattle were good to handle. Vendor has made concerted effort to manage cattle calmly through weaning and health treatments, particularly through using De-Stress in water source. Most heifers handled assessment well with approx 6 head showing stirriness in tight confines of weigh cradle. Have at times in the past displayed some run when moving yard to yard but previous purchasers have suggested cattle settle well.

Assessor Comments
A very well bred draft of weaner Angus heifers. The Bellevue herd is 100% Weeran blood with no expense spared on genetics with a focus on above average growth and carcase attributes whilst maintaining strong maternal traits in the cow herd. Presenting in store condition, these cattle have proven record of performance in the feedlot and on grass and will mature into productive medium to large frame breeders. Cattle are PCAS eligible & Never Ever Accredited. They have had full animal health treatments in the previous three months either side of weaning. An opportunity to acquire impeccably bred Angus heifers to background and join or to take on to any trade or export market (grain or grass) (Vendor also offers 28 Angus steers this sale, same drop)
