Buyers these steers were a pleasure to draft and assess. They are very quiet with plenty of time going into their weaning and education. Only a very small handful got unsettled in the crush and quicker in the pound. Quiet, well handled steers. Please refer to my videos for each lot to showcase their steady quiet nature in the yards. Buyers please consider this genuine line of 82 soft weaned steers (2 decks). This line has been drafted out for their softer breed types, vendor has 2 more lines of steers in this sale. Weighing from 167-326 kgs and average 235 kgs full at assessment, or approx 225 kgs at delivery. These steers have been fully weaned and educated, all the hard work is done and they are ready to perform. They have been pre treated for ticks with Baymec LV pour-on, with no visual sign of adult tick at assessment. For tick free buyers the vendors will guarantee delivery clear of the on farm certified plunge dip at "Pindari". They were a pleasure to handle/assess and i have full confidence they will go on and perform to reach heavy feeder weights or finish. Buyers please note when they were on the cow they and their mothers had access to dry lick which had a rumen modifier in its ingredients, steers not PCAS eligible. The vendor has 2 more lines of Droughtmaster weaned steers in this same sale.

The vendors purchased "Pindari" and its renowned breeder herd early this year. These steers are calves off those cows so are born & bred on this property. Steers have been cross branded at takeover.

Grazing Conditions
Since weaning these steers have been grazing in paddocks of Buffel, purple Pidgeon and native grasses all of which have been frosted. Recent rains have some green flag starting to come through underneath.
