Heifers were pretty quick in most areas of the yards. They do tend to gallop about when spooked in the bigger yards but nothing that could be considered aggressive. Like all cattle they need to be steadied through gateways etc. These heifers don't look to have had the handling that these cattle get in most years. Most heifers resented being pregnancy tested and needled and this not abnormal.

Buyers a light 3 deck line of PCAS ELIGIBLE heifers best described as Composites, bred out of crossbred cows. These would suit a trade feedlot entry or could be taken to heavier weights off crop or improved pastures to MSA domestic slaughter heifers. There were 6 in the line that were injected with a PG vaccine as it was thought they were in the early stages of pregnancy. Most are flatback types with only 8 with a bit higher Bos Indicus content with a bit more ear and slight crest visible in photos. 4 heifers with slight horn, nothing sharp. Note there are three No2 heifers in the lot all mouthed as milk tooth. All guaranteed for clean country entry and will scratch clean on farm. These respond well to horses, bikes and dogs. There is also a similar 4 deck Angus/ Brangus composite line in this sale that could go with them.
