They are fat score ones though all are fit and healthy. They moved through the yards and crush with no issue. They don't have heaps of energy.

The heifers were very good to handle. They were hand fed through autumn and winter so are used to humans and vehicles. They haven't been through the yards a lot though were easy to handle, a couple tried turning around in the crush other than that, good to handle.

83 vendor bred Angus heifers. They are a late Aug / Sep / Oct drop and were weaned in early April.
All weighed from 155kg - 247kg to average 184kg full. The cows did a great job for the first 8 months though the season has made it tough for them since, the feed has been very short and weather has been cold. They are visually pretty rough to look at though with some cover and clean coats it will make a massive improvement. The tops were sold a month ago, these are the second and I removed a tail of 63 at assessment. Bred out of big frame Banquet and Western Vic bred cows and sired by Bushy Park bulls who have used a lot of Millamurrah semen. They are all frame with absolutely no fat, they are light but not too far gone, with feed they will bounce back it will just take sometime. There is 6 hfrs that had a small pinkeye scar (see photos), 5 had some ringworn on their face and approx 5 hfrs have lost a bit of fur on their necks.
