Stock flowed through adequate facilities with no issues and worked into and up long crush onto head bale with no noticeable flighty or close quarter fear. Worked through yards and gateways steadily with no breaking through gate rapidly. These have been in and out of yard numerous times since July weaning.

83 Vendor bred composite type young steers. Av. full weight 296kg, range 236-356kg. In good, fresh, store condition with 29 recently had horns tipped, 1 not tipped, balanced polls. 2 head noticed with blue eye old blight scar. Had no vaccines or parasite treatments. Stock handled well through yards & suitable as grower steers to feedlot weight or heavy steers. Most steers are cleaning up in coat & no faults observed in body structure, legs & feet. Cattle have been castrated with bands and approx. 10 head show stronger male character. Scales tested prior to weighing and during set on level concrete base. 12 head were noticed showing Brahman character with 10 head classed as showing hump.
