Excellent temperament with Heifers filing through the pound draft and race with minimal fuss. Small percentage became slightly agitated when locked in the headbail or pushed forward into the crush. all settled quickly and comfortably once released.
Would consider this normal behaviour first run through the yards since trucking and preg testing on the 18th.

Vendor has another 3 deck lot of heifers in this sale that will be separated by the swing of the gate.
A run of PTE heifers that are ideal to take through to feed on weights or retain as future breeders. well suited to southern markets with only 4 heifers showing higher content and minimal hump.
100% reds and honeys in colour, Vendor bred with 1 x brand. all weaned and handled with no milk fat on them. These heifers come from an outstanding commercial herd with numerous repeat buyers that can attest to the quality and do-ability.
drafted into a 120kg weight range at assessment with the tail pulled out, from 317kg to 440kg full weight with 100% weighed at assessment for buyers confidence.

Have been grazing on open black soil downs heavily grassed with mitchell & flinders grasses. Recently moved from agistment to home block with a very good quality stand of Mitchell, Flinders and buffell grass on undulating broken frontage country.
