These Steers were an absolute pleasure to handle. They walked into the Yards, drafted without fuss and flowed quietly and sensible up the race and through the weigh box.

84 outstanding Black Baldy Steers. Aug/Sept 2023 drop, very well bred & extremely quiet. These Steers are ideal to background or grow out to Bullocks, whilst having the maturity & growth for immediate Feedlot entry. They display terrific bone & growth, & also the softness that is sought after in Black Baldy's. These Steers were bred on “Murndal”, a neighbouring property. They were walked onto “Bruanlea” as light Weaners, & have been grown out to feeder weights. These Steers have also been receiving a silage & pellet based mixed ration each day, that is compliant with all grass fed programs. They are by leading Weeran Bulls, out of either Weeran sired Black Baldy Cows or Yarram Park bred Hereford Cows. It is also worth noting that no expense has been spared on health protocols. They have had 2 X 5 in 1 doses, were drenched in Summer & Autumn, vaccinated against BRD with Bovi-Shield & Rhinogard & were injected with Piliguard in Autumn.
