Steers were good to handle through the yards. The odd steer stirred up in the crush under pressure, but once released back into the mob, they calmed down.

Approx. 84 weaner steers for sale south of Hughenden. The mob consists of mainly Angus cross, with 10% being Charolais cross. At assessment, they weighed 191 kg to 326 kg, averaging 236 kg. They have been weaned and broken in, using bikes and dogs. There are some signs of lice in the mob, but not detrimental. These soft weaner steers have great weight for age and would be ideal for the domestic feeder market. Vendor has the heifer portion of the mob also available in this auction. Please note that separate vendor has similar steers and heifers for sale, on the same property.
