Good to bring up through the back yard & forcing yard, and done so by a single handler. All led up the race well, never having to wait at the crush for cattle to come through. A few were unsettled in the crush, stomping around and trying to get away from the pressure, but most exiting sensibly. Heifers were a bit anxious being pushed along the fence line to double check off side eyes, but settled again well. Some further maturity and education and they will be a treat to handle.

Assessor Comments
Very nice run of black heifers that have been put together with the intention of producing a good Spring Feeder. All these Heifers are well on their way to smashing that goal, showing excellent growth for age, with most of them still a month or more away from their 1st birthday. Unfortunately a slow start to the cropping enterprise has meant the job cannot be finished and therefore leaving the door open for another buyer to take these heifers on to any chosen market. These females were purchased out of the lead pens at the sales & have the frame & structure to be head to toe productive. Long & deep with a real square back on them & plenty of width in their pin bones giving them a good wide back end. Feeder, Supermarket or heavy export, These are heifers with the scope to handle any job. Buyers please Note. Small amount of ringworm, Very odd wart, 2 minor eye blemishes (re-treated) and 5 small white udders/flanks. Note 3 Heifers with white bellies, option to leave out.

Few heifers with some Bathurst Burr on heads and in Tails. The weeds are along the fence lines of crops & were sprayed, so the burrs should be sterilized, but this cannot be guarantee.

Vendor Comments
Unfortunate sale, usually targeting feeder weights. But the crops just didn't get going early enough and now have to get them off.
