Offering on behalf of BAY OF ISLANDS FARM - Irvine Family are 85 quality Angus Weaner Steers. Presenting as a very neat and even line to avg 306kg full / 298kg curfewed, with a large portion of the draft falling in the 280-330kg range. The 2023 drop was sired by Te Mania ‘Legend’ & ‘Quota’, with a strong focus on growth and IMF traits. Steers are bred from medium framed cows, that are nearing full Te Mania blood, with a small portion of cows that are Rennylea & Booroomooka blood. Steers handle very well, starting with great temperament in the cow herd, followed up with thorough weaning and handling practices. Please note the husbandry details for buyer confidence. Steers would be a great backgrounding option to then target the feedlot market due to their positive growth and IMF traits, or to continue through to grass fed kill weights. Steers come highly recommended.
